Our 6-week swimming scheme of work is designed to teach water safety, and swimming skills to students in Key Stage 1 (ages 7-11) and bottom sets 11-14. The program is structured to provide a progressive and comprehensive approach to learning, focusing on developing fundamental skills and building confidence in the water.
Each week, students will participate in various activities designed to engage and challenge them. These activities include reviewing water safety rules, practicing different floating and kicking techniques, and developing arm stroke and diving skills. Differentiation techniques are also incorporated to cater to the different needs and abilities of the students.
